donation deed
A deed granted by the government to a person who either satisfies the statutory conditions in a donation act or redeems a bounty-land warrant. See DONATION ACT; BOUNTY-LAND WARRANT.

donative n. (1)捐赠物；赠品 (2)(英格兰古法)赠与圣职推荐权 这是圣职推荐权的一种形式，即国王或其特许的臣民建立教堂时由资助人，即圣职推荐权人〔patron〕以赠与契据〔deed of donation〕的方式将圣职绝对地赠与圣职候选人，无需推荐、授与和就职仪式。此事纯出于资助人之赠与和处断，只由资助人巡视而不由教会常任法官〔ordinary〕巡查。主教对该圣职不能直接控制，但可行使监督权。据称这是英国古老的授予教会圣职的唯一方式。一旦圣职推荐权人放弃其赠与特权，则该圣职推荐权成为一般圣职推荐权〔presentative〕。根据1898年《圣职法》〔Benefices Act〕，该圣职赠与推荐不足一百人时也转为一般圣职推荐权。 (→advowson donative)
